HOW TO IMPROVE LIFE

HOW TO IMPROVE LIFE

3. Don't over do; keep your limits
4. Don't take yourself so seriously; no one else does
5. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip
6. Dream more while you are awake
7. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need..

23. GOD heals everything
24. Do the right things
25. Whatever good or bad a situation is, it will change
26. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up
27. The best is yet to come
28. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful
29. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it
30. If you know GOD you will always be happy. So, be happy.
While you practice all of the above, share this knowledge with the people you love, people you school with, people you play with, people you work with and people you live with.
Not only will it enrich YOUR life, but also that of those around you.

How to sleep

16: Need for Sleep
If you say that you're dying to get a good night's sleep, you could mean that literally. You can go without eating for weeks without succumbing, but eleven days is tops for going without sleep. After eleven days, you'll be asleep -- forever!

15: Head Weight
No wonder babies have such a hard time holding up their heads: The human head is one-quarter of our total length at birth but only one-eighth of our total length by the time we reach adulthood

If you're clipping your fingernails more often than your toenails, that's only natural. The nails that get the most exposure and are used most frequently grow the fastest. Fingernails grow fastest on the hand that you write with and on the longest
13: Hair Color and Count
Blondes may or may not have more fun, but they definitely have more hair. Hair color helps determine how dense the hair on your head is, and blondes (only natural ones, of course), top the list. The average human head has 100,000 hair follicles, each of which is capable of producing 20 individual hairs during a person's lifetime. Blondes average 146,000 follicles. People with black hair tend to have about 110,000 follicles, while those with brown hair are right on target with 100,000 follicles. Redheads have the least dense hair, averaging about 86,000 follicles.

12: Snore Loudness
By 60 years of age, 60-percent of men and 40-percent of women will snore. But the sound of a snore can seem deafening. While snores average around 60 decibels, the noise level of normal speech, they can reach more than 80 decibels. Eighty decibels is as loud as the sound of a pneumatic drill breaking up concrete. Noise levels over 85 decibels are considered hazardous to the human ear.

11: Saliva Quantity
You may not want to swim in your spit, but if you saved it all up, you could. In a lifetime, the average person produces about 25,000 quarts of saliva -- enough to fill two swimming pools!

10: Blood Distance
Blood has a long road to travel: Laid end to end, there are about 60,000 miles of blood vessels in the human body. And the hard-working heart pumps about 2,000 gallons of blood through those vessels every day.

9: Sneeze Speed
The air from a human sneeze can travel at speeds of 100 miles per hour or more -- another good reason to cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze -- or duck when you hear one coming your way.

8: Source of Body Odor
The source of smelly feet, like smelly armpits, is sweat. And people sweat buckets from their feet. A pair of feet have 500,000 sweat glands and can produce more than a pint of sweat a day.

7: Bacteria
This will really make your skin crawl: Every square inch of skin on the human body has about 32 million bacteria on it, but fortunately, the vast majority of them are harmless.

6: Long Intestines
The small intestine is about four times as long as the average adult is tall. If it weren't looped back and forth upon itself, its length of 18 to 23 feet wouldn't fit into the abdominal cavity, making things rather messy.

5: Scent Remembering
Your nose is not as sensitive as a dog's, but it can remember 50,000 different scents.

4: New Stomach

Did you know that you get a new stomach lining every three to four days? If you didn't, the strong acids your stomach uses to digest food would also digest your stomach.

3: Bone Count
An adult has fewer Bones than a baby. We start off life with 350 bones, but because bones fuse together during growth, we end up with only 206 as adults.

2: Shedding
Your pet isn't the only one in the house with a shedding problem. Humans shed about 600,000 particles of skin every hour. That works out to about 1.5 pounds each year, so the average person will lose around 105 pounds of skin by age 70.

1: Tongue Print
Don't stick out your tongue if you want to hide your identity. Similar to fingerprints, everyone also has a unique tongue print!

Good morning

GOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING
and
Wishing you very successful day ahead
Time is running very fast ...
so don’t waste time for regretting on your past mistakes or
People who leave you
-Just think -
Those who leave you they don’t deserve your Love
So they are unlucky not you...
... Life is going to be end one day with this speed ....
So just enjoy fully never hurt anyone’s feelings ...
Always try to be reason for the smile on some one’s face...
& follow your heart ...

LOVE IS BLESSINGS

A simple phrase, "I love you"
when no one else is there
Taking hold onto a hand
in a little heartfelt prayer.
Love is never silent
It has so much to say,
And it is our greatest blessing
when we give it all away.
Spread some love today!

THANK GOD, I FOUND YOU

I would give up everything
Before I'd separate myself from you
After so much suffering
I've finally found a man that's true
I was all by myself for the longest time
So cold inside
And the hurt from the heart it would not subside
I felt like dying
Until you saved my life
Thank God I found you
I was lost without you
My every wish and every dream
Somehow became reality
When you brought the sunlight
Completed my whole life
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude
Cause baby I'm so thankful
I found you
I would give you everything
There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do
To ensure your happiness
I'll cherish every part of you
Because without you beside me I can't survive
I don't wanna try
If you're keeping me warm each and every night
I'll be all right
Cause I need you in my life
Thank God I found you (I'm begging you)
I was lost without you (so lost without you)
My every wish and every dream (every dream, every dream)
Somehow became reality
When you brought the sunlight (brought the sunlight)
Completed my whole life
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude
Cause baby I'm so thankful
I found you

ee I was so desolate
Before you came to me
Looking back I guess it shows
that we were destined to shine
After the rain to appreciate
And care for what we have
And I'd go through it all over again
To be able to feel this way
Thank God I found you
I was lost without you (lost without you baby)
My every wish and every dream
Somehow became reality
When you brought the sunlight
Completed my whole life (whole life)
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude
Sweet baby I'm so thankful
I found you
Thank God I found you
I was lost without you
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude
My baby I'm so thankful
I found you
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude
My baby I'm so thankful I found you

Don't sabotage

One of the biggest challenges deliberate creators face is
the fear of letting go. More often than not, this fear
stems from a strong doubt that the universe is listening;
or even distrust that the universe wants to deliver your
desires.

Beneath the doubt and distrust are usually some limiting
beliefs that keep us locked into a state of limbo, wanting
something better but not quite believing it will happen.

Below are two common limiting beliefs, along with helpful
tips about what to do if you believe you may have them too.

The first belief is: "I'm not deserving of this great thing."

Even if you know intellectually that you deserve your
desires, you may have a deep emotional belief that holds it
back. This belief may have been formed when you were a child
and your parent scolded you for being "greedy" or "selfish"
when you asked for something you wanted; or it may be the
result of caring for other people and consistently putting
yourself last.

Regardless of how the belief may have been formed, clearing
it is as easy as consistently reinforcing your own
worthiness every day. Make a list of reasons why you think
you do deserve to have what you want.

Self-talk yourself into a positive state of self-worth by
saying things like, "There's not a single reason why I
shouldn't have this thing. I'm a good person, I do a lot
for others, and I'm willing to do something nice for
myself too."

Keep doing this daily and within a very short period of
time you should notice that you are starting to feel much
better about yourself and truly believe in your worthiness.

The second belief is: "If I let go and trust, it won't happen."

This belief is often the result of a perception of the
universe (or God) as being cold, judgmental, and distant.
When we obsess over an intention, what we're really doing
is trying to make it happen on our own, rather than trusting
that the universe will take care of it for us.

Deep down inside, we really don't believe that the universe
is loving and benevolent. So, on an energetic level, we
shove the universe aside and say, "I know you won't do this
for me, so I'll do it myself; move out of my way."

Needless to say, the universe simply conforms to our belief
- which creates a lot more stress and work for us, and
very little progress on our manifestations.

To overcome this belief, start building up your trust in the
universe each day. Ask for help with plenty of small things,
and ask in an affirmative way. Say, "Universe, I need to
get to work on time, and I know you will make it so traffic
is light and moving smoothly this morning."

Then expect it to happen. Over time, you will begin
noticing how often you seem to have "unseen helpers" jumping
to answer your requests - and your belief will begin to grow
and have an effect on your bigger manifestations too.

Avoid sickness

1. Keep the intestines clean. It’s the age-old rule: if digestion isn’t working right, you’re wide open for disease. A whole foods plant-based diet is the primer for intestinal health, with a good amount and variety of vegetables, fruit, whole grains and legumes that have the fiber and nutrients to keep you regular and with optimal digestive function. Read this article for some good practices to cleanse the digestive system.

2. Stay alkaline. A more recently discovered but unquestionably effective rule: Disease does not grow in an alkaline body. Keep your blood slightly alkaline by eating in proper alkaline/acid ratios, and bacteria will not have a chance to flourish into infections in your body, no matter where you are (viruses will be easily disposed off too.) Read our alkalinity article and our interview with Dr. Robert Young for more information.

3. Drink water with lime. This is a basic practice for alkalinity, intestinal health, and mineral intake. It’s not just the vitamin C in the lime that keeps you healthy – limes have such a high mineral count that, while they may taste acidic, they are actually alkaline for your body. Both of us wake up and drink water with lime first thing in the morning on a daily basis. Neither of us do colds or flus, and if anything gets in our bodies, we get rid of it with lightning speed. And, no, drinking orange juice is by far not the same as drinking lime water. Find out why in our Citrus Profile.

4. Sterilize the hive with propolis (and by “the hive”, we mean “your body”). Propolis is this amazing wax-like paste that bees make by combining resin from bark and leaves, bee pollen and nectar. They use this substance to seal their hive, protecting it from any outside contaminants. Propolis has been used for healing since the days of Hippocrates – it’s a natural antibiotic, anti fungal, anti bacterial, anti viral, and anti inflammatory agent, immune system booster, and is even high in mineral, vitamin, and amino acid (protein) content. This one is a keeper, a bee keeper (pun intended).

5. Watch your thoughts. High frequency thoughts are key for maintaining optimal health. Irrational thoughts that bring about negative emotions generate chemicals that bring your immune system down. Yes, your thoughts and emotions can compromise your immune system, and leave you with low defenses against viruses and bacteria that cause illness. Focusing on positive thoughts and being aware that you have the power to transmute any irrational thoughts is powerful preventative medicine. Master your emotions and the health effect will trickle down to your physical body.

Any one of these tips will help keep you illness-free this season. Combine them and you’re pretty season-proof. You are the guardian of your health. Put these tips to use and you’ll see that bypassing a cold or flu is not a secret – it’s the result of your own informed decisions.

NEVER MAKE WOMAN ANGRY

A woman arrived at the Gates of Heaven. While she was waiting for Saint Peter to
greet her, she peeked through the gates and saw a beautiful banquet table.

Sitting all around were her parents and all the other people she had loved and
who had died before her. They saw her and began calling greetings to her,
"Hello. How are you! We've been waiting for you! Good to see you."

When Saint Peter came by, the woman said to him,
"This is such a wonderful place! How do I get in?"

"You have to spell a word," Saint Peter told her.
"Which word?" the woman asked.
"Love."

The woman correctly spelled "Love" and Saint Peter welcomed her into Heaven.

About a year later, Saint Peter came to the woman
and asked her to watch the Gates of Heaven for him that day.
While the woman was guarding the Gates of Heaven, her husband arrived.

"I'm surprised to see you," the woman said. "How have you been?"
"Oh, I've been doing pretty well since you died," her husband told her. "I
married the beautiful young nurse who took care of you while you were ill. And
then I won the multi-state lottery. I sold the little house you and I lived in
and bought a huge mansion. And my wife and I traveled all around the world. We
were on vacation in Cancun and I went water skiing today. I fell and hit my
head, and here I am. What a bummer! How do I get in?"

"You have to spell a word," the woman told him.
"Which word?" her husband asked.
"Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis", she replied.

Moral of the story: Never make a woman angry . . . there will be Hell to pay!

Priceless kisses

In That Priceless Kiss of Forever!
The first time I felt your lips
I thought it was merely a dream
I opened my eyes and to my surprise
The most handsome eyes I've ever seen.

I don't know why you love me
But because of that I know dreams come true
All I want is love and devotion
Honesty and faithfulness from you.
Since that very first day we kissed

I just couldn't let it go
I'd found a love to last forever
And so much to experience and know.
I couldn't believe what I was staring at

You stole my heart away
I love you with all my heart
More and more each day.
Whenever things get really rough
And there's times I begin to miss
I just close my eyes and begin to dream

And remember our first kiss.
I can't remember any kisses before you
But it doesn't matter now
I still can't believe it
The feelings in that kiss I had found.

It all just came in one day
Two people who were perfect together
And I found it all in one precious touch
In that priceless kiss of forever.

Love

"When you argue with reality, you lose - but only 100% of the time."
- "Life is not a struggle; the only struggle is your resistance to allowing reality to be exactly as it is. Struggles would disappear if you could allow the comings and goings of life flow through you with the trust that everything that is happening to you is for your best interest, even if you can't see it right now. Allowing reality to be exactly as it is - this is the first step towards transformation."
-
"A Course in Miracles reminds us that "I am responsible for what I see" and "I am affected only by my thoughts." Behind all situations in the outer world, our thoughts determine our experience. Our real work is to see through the eyes of love, not fear."

CANCER

Cancer - very informative

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY TO ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY.

[Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins ]

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion.. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4.. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9.. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

WHAT CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt..

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract.. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells.?

To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water--best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor.

Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16.. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

Hair loss

10 principles for Peace of Mind

1. Do Not Interfere In Others' Business Unless Asked.
Most of us create our own problems by interfering too often in others' affairs. We do so because somehow we have convinced ourselves that our way is the best way, our logic is the perfect logic and those who do not conform to our thinking must be criticized and steered to the right direction, our direction. This thinking denies the existence of individuality and consequently the existence of God. God has created each one of us in a unique way. No two human beings can think or act in exactly the same way. All men or women act the way they do because God within them prompts them that way. Mind your own business and you will keep your peace.
2. Forgive And Forget:
This is the most powerful aid to peace of mind. We often develop ill feelings inside our heart for the person who insults us or harms us. We nurture grievances. This in turn results in loss of sleep, development of stomach ulcers, and high blood pressure. This insult or injury was done once, but nourishing of grievance goes on forever by constantly remembering it. Get over this bad habit. Life is too short to waste in such trifles. Forgive,20 Forget, and march on. Love flourishes in giving and forgiving.
3. Do Not Crave For Recognition:
This world is full of selfish people. They seldom praise anybody without selfish motives. They may praise you today because you are in power, but no sooner than you are powerless, they will forget your achievement and will start finding faults in you. Why do you wish to kill yours lf in striving for their recognition? Their recognition is not worth the aggravation. Do your duties ethically and sincerely.
4. Do Not Be Jealous:
We all have experienced how jealousy can disturb our peace of mind. You know that you work harder than your colleagues in the office, but sometimes they get promotions; you do not. You started a business several years ago, but you are not as successful as your neighbor whose business is only one year old. There are several examples like these in everyday life. Should you be jealous? No. Remember everybody's life is shaped by his/her destiny, which has now become his/her reality. If you are destined to be rich, nothing in the world can stop you. If you are not so destined, no one can help you either. Nothing will be gained by blaming others for your misfortune. Jealousy will not get you anywhere; it will only take away your peace of mind.
5. Change Yourself According To The Environment:
If you try to change the environment single-handedly, the chances are you will fail. Instead, change yourself to suit your environment. As you do this, even the environment, which has been unfriendly to you, will mysteriously change and seem congenial and harmonious.
6. Endure What Cannot Be Cured:
This is the best way to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Every day we face numerous inconveniences, ailments, irritations, and accidents that are beyond our control... If we cannot control them or change them, we must learn to put up with these things. We must learn to endure them cheerfully. Believe in yourself and you will gain in terms of patience, inner strength and will power.
7. Do Not Bite Off More Than You Can Chew:
This maxim needs to be remembered constantly. We often tend to take more responsibilities than we are capable of carrying out. This is done to satisfy our ego. Know your limitations. . Why take on additional loads that may create more worries? You cannot gain peace of mind by expanding your external activities. Reduce your material engagements and spend time in prayer, introspection and meditation. This will reduce those thoughts in your mind that make you restless. Uncluttered mind will produce greater peace of mind.
8. Meditate Regularly:
Meditation calms the mind and gets rid of disturbing thoughts. This is the highest state of peace of mind. Try and experience it yourself. If you meditate earnestly for half an hour everyday, your mind will tend to become peaceful during the remaining twenty-three and half-hours. Your mind will not be easily disturbed as it was before. You would benefit by gradually increasing the period of daily meditation. You may think that this will interfere with your daily work. On the contrary, this will increase your efficiency and you will be able to produce better results in less time.
9. Never Leave The Mind Vacant:
An empty mind is the devil's workshop. All evil actions start in the vacant mind. Keep your mind occupied in something positive, something worthwhile . Actively follow a hobby. Do something that holds your interest. You must decide what you value more: money or peace of mind. Your hobby, like social work or religious work, may not always earn you more money, but you will have a sense of fulfillment and achievement. Even when you are resting physically, occupy yourself in healthy reading or mental chanting of God's name.
10. Do Not Procrastinate And Never Regret:
Do not waste time in protracted wondering " Should I or shouldn't I?" Days, weeks, months, and years may be wasted in that futile mental debating. You can never plan enough because you can never anticipate all future happenings. Value your time and do the things that need to be done. It does not matter if you fail the first time. You can learn from your mistakes and succeed the next time. Sitting back and worrying will lead to nothing. Learn from your mistakes, but do not brood over the past. DO NOT REGRET. Whatever happened was destined to happen only that way. Why cry over spilt milk..

Things I Love About You

Your eyes
Which first held me captivated
Where I stood.

Your smile
To dazzle the sun
And warm every corner of my soul.

Your voice
Like a sparkling mountain stream
Which flows into my heart.

Your walk
And the way your gracefulness
Takes my breath away.

Your hair
About which I dreamed
Cascading into my face
As you leaned over me

Your hands
Whose caress I crave
To hold my face
In their tenderness

Your arms
I long to have around my neck
As you pull me close
To your warmth

Most of all
Everything you are
Changed the way I feel about my life.

I love you.

Simple comment may destroy

A coin can be seen from one side only
at a time but
we should never judge
based on one side view,
forgetting there is an other side for the coin.
Simple Comments May Destroy The Honor Of A Man
Once upon a time an old man spread rumors that his neighbor was a thief. As a result, the young man was arrested. Days later the young man was proven innocent. After he was released he sued the old man for wrongly accusing him.
In court the old man told the Judge: 'They were just comments, they were not meant to harm anyone.'
The judge, before passing sentence on the case, told the old man: 'Write all the things you said about him on a piece of paper. Cut them up and on the way home; throw the pieces of paper out. Tomorrow, come back to hear the sentence.'
The next day, the judge told the old man: 'Before receiving the sentence, you will have to go out and gather all the pieces of paper that you threw out yesterday.'
The old man said: 'I can't do that! The wind spread them and I won't know where to find them.'
The judge then replied: 'The same way, simple comments may destroy the honor of a man to such an extent that one is not able to fix it. If you can't speak well of someone, rather don't say anything.’
'Let's all be masters of our mouths, so that we won't be slaves of our words.'
" Give food to the hungry, water to the thirsty, and clothes to the naked. Then God will be pleased " &

Keep Your Teeth White Naturally

There are many effective methods of teeth whitening available, but some come with heavy price tags. Here are some steps you can take at home to whiten teeth naturally without breaking the bank.
Things You’ll Need:

Straw
Toothbrush
Lemon Juice
Salt
Baking soda
Hydrogen peroxide
Strawberries

Step 1:
Limit your consumption of drinks that stain tooth enamel. A few of these include coffee, tea and red wine. If you simply can't cut back on these beverages, consider drinking them though a straw to limit the amount of liquid that actually comes in contact with teeth.
Step 2:
Brush your teeth immediately after eating, especially if eating foods that stain easily, such as berries.
Step 3:
Rub raw strawberries on your teeth, preferably pureed. There is an enzyme in strawberries that acts as a whitening agent. You'll want to brush and rinse after applying the strawberries to remove the natural sugars and acids they may leave behind.
Step 4:
Eat crunchy foods that require a lot of chewing such as carrots, celery, broccoli and apples. These foods are abrasive and will remove built up plaque, which dulls the appearance of teeth.
Step 5:
Dip your toothbrush directly into baking soda and brush. The results are worth the lousy taste.
Step 6:
Combine lemon juice and one teaspoon of salt to make a paste-like substance. Brush your teeth and rinse. Again, not so pleasant on the palate, but your teeth will thank you.
Step 7:
Use hydrogen peroxide to brush your teeth. Dip your toothbrush into a small capful of the peroxide and brush as you would with regular toothpaste, being careful not to swallow. Rinse with water.

OFFERING

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you?”

“You don’t owe me anything,” she replied “Mother has taught us never to accept payment for a kindness.” He said… “Then I thank you from my heart.” His name was Howard Kelly.

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt; stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor’s gown he we not in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room.

She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally, she looked, and something caught; her attention on the side as She read these words…..

“Paid in full with one glass of milk.” (Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: “Thank You, GOD, that Your love has spread abroad through human hearts and hands.”

9 Healthy Habits

We don't yet have the perfect formula for long life,

happiness and physical health, but a little careful

distillation of the massive amount of research on

health and longevity reveals that cultivating nine

basic habits will significantly increase the odds of

your living long, well and happily, in a robust,

healthy, weight-appropriate body.

1.Eat your vegetables.

No kidding. And I'm talking at least 9 servings a

day.. Unless you're following the most stringent

first stage of the Atkins Diet, you should be able

to consume 60-120 grams of carbs a day

(depending on your weight and exercise level),

and you'd have to eat a stockyard full of spinach

to get to that amount. Every major study of

long-lived, healthy people shows that they eat a

ton of plant foods. Nothing delivers antioxidants,

fiber, flavonoids, indoles, and the entire

pharmacopia of disease fighting phytochemicals

like stuff that grows.

2.Eat fish and/or take fish oil.

The Omega-3's found in cold-water fish like

salmon deserve the title of "wellness molecule

of the century". They lower the risk of heart

disease, they lower blood pressure, they

improve mood and they're good for the brain.

And if you're pregnant, they may make

your kid smarter!

3.Connect.

And I'm not talking about the internet. In virtually

every study of people who are healthy and happy

into their 9th and 10th decade, social connections

are one of the "prime movers" in their life.

Whether church, family, volunteer work or community,

finding something you care about that's bigger than

you that you can connect with and that involves other

people (or animals) will extend your life, increase

your energy, and make you happier. Only always.

4.Get some sun.

At least 10-15 minutes three times a week.

Interestingly, a recent study of four places in

the globe where people lived the longest and

were the healthiest noted that all four places

were in sunny climates. Sun improves your

mood and boosts levels of cancer-fighting,

performance-enhancing, bone-strengthening

vitamin D, a vitamin most people don't get

nearly enough of.

5.Sleep Well.

If you're low in energy, gaining weight, grumpy

and looking haggard, guess what? - chances are

you're not sleeping nearly long enough nor well

enough. By sleeping "well", I mean uninterrupted

sleep, in the dark, without the television on, in a

relaxing environment. Nothing nourishes,

replenishes and restarts the system like 7-9 hours

sleep. Hint: start by going to bed an hour early.

And if you've got a computer in the bedroom,

banish it.

6.Exercise every day.

Forget this 20 minutes three times a week stuff.

Long lived people are doing things like farm

chores at 4:30 in the morning! Our Paleolithic

ancestors traveled an average of 20 miles per day.

Our bodies were designed to move on a regular

basis. New studies show that merely 30 minutes a

day of walking not only reduces the risk of most

serious diseases, but can even grow new brain cells!

7.Practise Gratitude.

By making a list of things you're grateful for, you

focus the brain on positive energy. Gratitude is

incompatable with anger and stress. Practise using

your under-utilized "right brain" and spread some

love. Focusing on what you're grateful for - even for

five minutes a day - has the added benefit of being

one of the best stress -reduction techniques on the

planet.

8. Eat red grapes.

The resveratrol in dark grapes is being studied for

its effect on extending life, which it seems to do for

almost every species studied. (So does eating about

1/3 less food, by the way.) If you've got a problem

with alcohol, you can get resveratrol from grapes,

peanuts or supplements. (And if you're a woman,

and you choose the alcohol option, make sure

you're getting folic acid every day.)

9.Get the sugar out.

The number one enemy of vitality, health and

longevity is not fat, it's sugar. Sugar's effect on

hormones, moods, immunity, weight and possibly

even cancer cells is enormous, and it's all negative.

To the extent that you can remove it from your diet,

you will be adding years to your life and life to your

years.

This list may not be perfect and it may not be

complete, but it's a start. As my dear grandmother

used to say, "Couldn't hurt". Not one of these"habits"

will hurt you, all will benefit you, and some may

make the difference between life and death.

And it's never too late to start cultivating them.

Enjoy the journey!

Think deeply

Something To Think About! Imagine that you had won the following prize in a contest: Each morning your bank would deposit $86,400.00 in your private account for your use. However, this prize has rules, just as any game has certain rules. The first set of rules would be: Everything that you didn't spend during each day would be taken away from you. You may not simply transfer money into some other account. You may only spend it. Each morning upon awakening, the bank opens your account with another $86,400.00 for that day. The second set of rules: The bank can end the game without warning; at any time it can say, its over, the game is over! It can close the account and you will not receive a new one. What would you personally do? You would buy anything and everything you wanted, right? Not only for yourself, but for all people you love, right? Even for people you don't know, because you couldn't possibly spend it all on yourself, right? You would try to spend every cent, and use it all, right? ACTUALLY, this GAME is REALITY! Each of us is in possession of such a magical bank. We just can't seem to see it. The MAGICAL BANK is TIME! Each morning we awaken to receive 86,400 seconds as a gift of life, and when we go to sleep at night, any remaining time is NOT credited to us. What we haven't lived up that day is forever lost. Yesterday is forever gone. Each morning the account is refilled, but the bank can dissolve your account at any time....WITHOUT WARNING. SO, what will YOU do with your 86,400 seconds? Aren't they worth so much more than the same amount in dollars? Think about that, and always think of this: Enjoy every second of your life, because time races by so much quicker than you think! So take care of yourself, be happy, love deeply and enjoy life!

oThen sales executive in UK

oHolds a fake degree in English of Cambridge university

This is the qualification of the lady, who is governing India (beneficiary of 6 biggest scams in Indian history including Boforce, KGB, 2G, Equity sales fraud, Hawala and Swiss accounts)...Sonia Gandhi is currently in Switzerland not in USA to move their black money from their Swiss accounts. She and Congress are fooling people of India that she is in USA for some surgery/operation. She can have an operation/surgery in India also. India has worlds’ best hospitals and medical facilities available now. She can even call any doctor from world to India as visiting doctor to take opinion on her surgery/operation but as it is all fake story to fool India and its innocent people to transfer Black money before Indian people demands government to act and get it black money back to India. Government is also protracted and not acting on black money now till all politicians take out their money from their swiss accounts.

AND her son Rahul Gandhi,

·With 3 cases outside India caught high on cocaine

·Had failed in hindi

·Uses his mothers surname outside India and holds dual passports which are a big crime...

·Having a columbian girlfriend, whose is a daughter of a drug mafia...

Please spread to as many as you can so Indians get to know the reality.

You should also come out from wrong notion of Congress and Gandhi. It is not at all related to Mahatma Gandhi the father of Nation.

Indira Gandhi, daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, She was named Indira Priyadarshini Nehru. She fell in love and decided to marry Feroze Khan, a family friend. Feroze Khan’s father, Nawab Khan, was a Muslim, and mother was a Persian Muslim. Jawaharlal Nehru did not approve of the inter-caste marriage for political reasons (see http://www.asiasource.org/society/indiragandhi.cfm). If Indira Nehru were to marry a Muslim she would loose the possibility of becoming the heir to the future Nehru dynasty. At this juncture, according to one story, Mahatma Gandhi intervened and adopted Feroze Khan, gave him his last name (family name/caste name) and got the name of Feroz Khan changed to Feroz Gandhi by an affidavit in England. Thus, Feroze Khan became Feroze Gandhi.

The Indira Gandhi was not Gandhi but Indira gained the surname "Gandhi" by her marriage to Feroze Gandhi. She had no relation to Mahatma Gandhi, either by blood or marriage.

Congress which is led by such a wrong people is not at all going to do anything good for India. Pls. do not depend and leave things on politicians and leaders you elect specially of Congress party.

Take active participation in Politics and be an active member in creation of better India for our generations to come.

Please open your eyes, mind and if you want India to be the best country in the World, we/ ourselves only will have to work for that.

Please do not get trapped into false and future dreams being shown and presented by your corrupt/criminal politicians. Go into depth and use your power of voting wisely.

Human body strange

Your Stomach Secretes Corrosive Acid
There's one dangerous liquid no airport security can confiscate from you: It's in your gut. Your stomach cells secrete hydrochloric acid, a corrosive compound used to treat metals in the industrial world. It can pickle steel, but mucous lining the stomach wall keeps this poisonous liquid safely in the digestive system, breaking down lunch.

Body Position Affects Your Memory
Can't remember your anniversary, hubby? Try getting down on one knee. Memories are highly embodied in our senses. A scent or sound may evoke a distant episode from one's childhood. The connections can be obvious (a bicycle bell makes you remember your old paper route) or inscrutable. A recent study helps decipher some of this embodiment. An article in the January 2007 issue of Cognition reports that episodes from your past are remembered faster and better while in a body position similar to the pose struck during the event.

Bones Break (Down) to Balance Minerals
In addition to supporting the bag of organs and muscles that is our body, bones help regulate our calcium levels. Bones contain both phosphorus and calcium, the latter of which is needed by muscles and nerves. If the element is in short supply, certain hormones will cause bones to break downeupping calcium levels in the bodyeuntil the appropriate extracellular concentration is reached.

Much of a Meal is Food For Thought
Though it makes up only 2 percent of our total body weight, the brain demands 20 percent of the body's oxygen and calories. To keep our noggin well-stocked with resources, three major cerebral arteries are constantly pumping in oxygen. A blockage or break in one of them starves brain cells of the energy they require to function, impairing the functions controlled by that region. This is a stroke.

Thousands of Eggs Unused by Ovaries
When a woman reaches her late 40s or early 50s, the monthly menstrual cycle that controls her hormone levels and readies ova for insemination ceases. Her ovaries have been producing less and less estrogen, inciting physical and emotional changes across her body. Her underdeveloped egg follicles begin to fail to release ova as regularly as before. The average adolescent girl has 34,000 underdeveloped egg follicles, although only 350 or so mature during her life (at the rate of about one per month). The unused egg follicles then deteriorate. With no potential pregnancy on the horizon, the brain can stop managing the release of ova.

Puberty Reshapes Brain Structure, Makes for Missed Curfews
We know that hormone-fueled changes in the body are necessary to encourage growth and ready the body for reproduction. But why is adolescence so emotionally unpleasant? Hormones like testosterone actually influence the development of neurons in the brain, and the changes made to brain structure have many behavioral consequences. Expect emotional awkwardness, apathy and poor decision-making skills as regions in the frontal cortex mature.

Cell Hairs Move Mucus
Most cells in our bodies sport hair-like organelles called cilia that help out with a variety of functions, from digestion to hearing. In the nose, cilia help to drain mucus from the nasal cavity down to the throat. Cold weather slows down the draining process, causing a mucus backup that can leave you with snotty sleeves. Swollen nasal membranes or condensation can also cause a stuffed schnozzle.

Big Brains Cause Cramped Mouths
Evolution isn't perfect. If it were, we might have wings instead of wisdom teeth. Sometimes useless features stick around in a species simply because they're not doing much harm. But wisdom teeth weren't always a cash crop for oral surgeons. Long ago, they served as a useful third set of meat-mashing molars. But as our brains grew our jawbone structure changed, leaving us with expensively overcrowded mouths.

The World Laughs with You
Just as watching someone yawn can induce the behavior in yourself, recent evidence suggests that laughter is a social cue for mimicry. Hearing a laugh actually stimulates the brain region associated with facial movements. Mimicry plays an important role in social interaction. Cues like sneezing, laughing, crying and yawning may be ways of creating strong social bonds within a group.

Your Skin Has Four Colors
All skin, without coloring, would appear creamy white. Near-surface blood vessels add a blush of red. A yellow pigment also tints the canvas. Lastly, sepia-toned melanin, created in response to ultraviolet rays, appears black in large amounts. These four hues mix in different proportions to create the skin colors of all the peoples of Earth.

Cry helps

A good cry can often make us feel better and help us put things in perspective. Now, a new study has revealed that the benefits of crying depend entirely on the what, where and when of a particular ‘crying episode’. The University of South Florida psychologists Jonathan Rottenberg and Lauren M Bylsma, along with their colleague Ad JJM Vingerhoets of Tilburg University analysed the detailed accounts of more than 3000 recent crying experiences (which occurred outside of the laboratory).
The researchers found that the majority of respondents reported improvements in their mood following a bout of crying. However, one third of the survey participants reported no improvement in mood and a tenth felt worse after crying. The survey also revealed that criers who received social support during their crying episode were the most likely to report improvements in mood.
Studies till date have not always produced a clear picture of the benefits of crying, in part because the results often seem to depend on how crying is studied. The researchers note several challenges in accurately studying crying behaviour in a laboratory setting.
Volunteers who cry in a laboratory setting often do not describe their experiences as being cathartic or making them feel better. Rather, crying in a laboratory setting often results in the study participants feeling worse; this may be due to the stressful conditions of the study itself, such as being videotaped or watched by research assistants. This may produce negative emotions (such as embarrassment), which neutralise the positive benefits usually associated with crying.
However, these laboratory studies have provided interesting findings about the physical effects of crying. Criers do show calming effects such as slower breathing, but they also experience a lot of unpleasant stress and arousal, including increased heart rate and sweating.
What is interesting is that bodily calming usually lasts longer than the unpleasant arousal. The calming effects may occur later and overcome the stress reaction, which would account for why people tend to remember mostly the pleasant side of crying.
Research has shown that the effects of crying also depend on who is shedding the tears. For example, individuals with anxiety or mood disorders are least likely to experience the positive effects of crying. Also, the researchers found that people who lack insight into their emotional lives (a condition known as alexithymia) actually feel worse after crying. The authors suggest that for these individuals, their lack of emotional insight may prevent the kind of cognitive change required for a sad experience to be transformed into something positive. ANI

Master the Art of Living

Stress results from a wrong definition of life. For most people life stands for 'Living in Fear Everyday'. Insecurities and fears lead you to
ignore the positives leading to a loss of self-belief. The way out of this negative spiral is to change the definition of life to 'Living in Freedom Everyday'.
By making the right choices, you attract positive people and opportunities. Given our busy schedules, it might not always be possible to pursue any single form
of wellness. But you can make small changes from various forms. Motivational speaker and life coach Santosh Joshi gives some easily do-able tips.
In touch with your inner self
Master this simple meditation technique. You can do this while travelling in a bus, train or flight, or even at work. And you only need 15 minutes.
- Sit in a comfortable chair.

- Take a few deep breaths. Focus on the breath going in and out.

- Imagine that your whole body, every pore and cell is breathing. (This helps draw cosmic energy.)
Imbibe the power of music
Sound vibrations stir our inner being. Play spiritual music, hymns and chants as and when you can. Listen to such music while working out or jogging;
your mind wouldn't wander then.
Be around nature
Invest in making your living zone a green area by planting trees. Try and sign up for nature walks once in a while. Else, try and walk barefoot every day for
15 minutes at your nearest park. It's a simple way to connect with nature. The earth element has the capacity to take away negativity.
Have vibrant colours around
Colour therapy is getting popular by the day. Colours emit vibrations that affect our psyche. Eg: Yellow gives confidence, red signifies security, orange signifies
emotional balance and blue improves communication and intuition. Explore its benefits in daily life. Change your drapes, bed sheets, pillow covers, etc. with
primary colours or any colour that makes you happy. Light coloured candles. Wear more vibrant hues. Choose outfits depending on the way you want to project yourself.
Indulge in some laughter therapy
No need to join a laughter club, just try and have a good laugh at least 10 minutes a day. It opens up blocked energy patterns, releases feel-good hormones
and is even good for certain aches and pains. So rent your favourite DVDs or comedy shows and laugh out loud.
Energise your house
Light a candle or diya every morning and evening. Fire has capacity to burn negative energies. Fill your house with fragrance and aromas that relax the mind.
Try and have a water body. Also have open windows; the flow of air takes away negative energy.
Inner child therapy
Each person has an inner child within him/her. Do things you used to as a child -- be it clay modeling, doodling, drawing with colour pencils/crayons or even
jumping into a puddle. They help you get rid of inhibitions and help you explore new areas of life.
Press the right points
Based on acupressure, stimulating pressure points reduces stress. During stress, immediately press points around your eyes, your ear lobes and the point
between your nose and lips. These points have a direct connection to nerve endings that control feelings of unease. Also keep pressing your palms to get immediate relief.
Healthy lifestyle
The point about good sleep, healthy diet and exercise cannot be emphasised enough. If you can't stick to a routine, at least adopt a few good practices.
Like having a 'fruit day' occasionally to cleanse the body. Or drinking enough water to flush out toxins. Another tip is to count your steps while walking,
it improves concentration. Finally, have gratitude; gratitude fills us with positive energy.
Clear clutter
Clear your home, work station and even your car. Most importantly, clear your mind. Clutter creates blocks in the flow of energy within you. When these
blocks remain for long, it spreads all over your body and mind leaving you in a forever irritable and snappy mood.

Cures For Overcoming The Onset Of Mental Rigor Mortis.

4 Cures For Overcoming The Onset Of Mental Rigor Mortis..

Motivational Memo: The older I get the younger I think. The number of years denoted by the calendar and your birth date are no reflection of how old you really are, or how healthy you are in your spirit, soul and body. There are some twenty-one year olds who, in their mind and attitudes, are older than someа in their eighties. Age is not a matter of chronology. Age is a matter of attitude, and of the state of your mind.So to keep you from suffering from mental rigor mortis and vision arthritis, here are four cures that will keep you 'young at heart' and 'young of mind' for many years to come.

1. Keep LearningPeople who work a job and who do additional study outside of their working hours attract advancement. In this day and age there is no excuse for not pursuing some external study.Personally, I attend seminars, take online courses and position myself to learn new things at every opportunity. I make certain that I am always a student, because I have enrolled in a lifetime of learning. By doing this, your mind is stimulated, new ideas are sparked, fresh insight is revealed, and a different perspective is gained.I pay for some of this learning, but it is amazing how many complimentary courses are available - both offline and online in written, audio and video format.

2. Keep ReadingааNow I'm not talking about the newspaper here. I'm talking about selective reading of material that stimulates your brain, challenges you through questioning, and causes you to take notes. In addition to books, set up Google Reader on your computer so that you can be alerted about great articles that have just been written in blogs all over the world.Join your local library, and that way you have access to an incredible array of material for free.

3. Keep Great CompanyI'm a firm believer of the power of coaches and mentors. The greatest value of having these people in your world is that they are unafraid to ask you the hard questions. In addition they also keep you accountable. It is so easy to lie to yourself, and to fail to fulfill the plans that you have proposed to move you forward in life.Whether they are paid or unpaid really doesn't matter. But make sure that you meet on a weekly basis for at least an hour for an extended length of time. Watch how that relationship makes you sharper in every area of your life. In addition, the conversation focused on your personal improvement - whether in person, or over the phone or via Skype - will develop you in your communication skills and perception.

4. Keep Pursuing Great GoalsIn my wallet I have a list of my goals that I carry with me and refer to on a daily basis. On this year's goal list I have my:Major goal for the yearTravel goals Financial goalsSpiritual goalsMental goalsPhysical goalsSocial goalsBusiness goalsFuture goals - that spread beyond this calendar yearIn addition, next to my bed I have a major two-year goal that I am pursuing, and the financial reward for that goal once achieved. It is written on my note pad so that I see it and speak it each night before I go to bed and each morning when I rise. So by learning, reading, keeping great company, and pursuing great goals you are offsetting the disease that afflicts those who remain staid in their thinking and unchanged and unchallenged in their thought processes. I recently wrote a great article about how to live with no goals. You can read more here..By maintaining an atmosphere of stimulated thinking, mental rigor mortis and vision arthritis will have no power over you. Healing shall be yours.
